As part of its statutory authority and responsibility under Connecticut General Statute ยง54-300, the Commission is to review, research, and make recommendations to the General Assembly, the Governor and the state agencies. Towards that goal, the Commission is accepting ideas for research, evaluations, analysis and policy work that may assist in identifying emerging trends, developing public policy and that may ultimately lead to improvements of the criminal justice system in the state.
